I managed to get a few shorter runs in while on vacation, the longest being about six miles. There happened to be a running and biking trail near our hotel, right on the Mediterranean. It was a beautiful route to run!
With the loads of walking around we did, I feel like I’m in a pretty good place. Now that I’m home, I get back to my regularly scheduled program and have “only” 10-11 miles to squeeze into this weekend. Jet lag seems to be working in my favor, knock on wood. We got in early evening yesterday and I was so tired I feel asleep around 8:00, waking up at 5AM. I probably could have slept more, but got up anyway. It’ll hopefully bode well for the long run.
