I skipped a lot of stuff this week. I had two good runs, both on a treadmill. I blame the weather for a lot in these posts, but it was something special this week. I keep hoping we don’t have a hot October.
I woke myself up at 5:15 on Saturday morning and felt paralyzed by tiredness. I waited a minute or two to see if I could shake it off, but it never happened. I woke up again a few hours later, having slept later than I had in a long, long time.
I figure it’s my body’s way of telling me I need more rest. This was a cut-back week, so I don’t feel as guilty as I would if it was a build week. I don’t have any other great excuses. Energy was directed elsewhere and running suffered. Even this blog is half-assed. That’s all I have for now.
